Hall of Books Store Policies

All of our secondhand books and sheet music are owned by Hall of Books and are in stock. We personally acquire, check, describe, photograph, store, pick, pack and post every item we list. We try and photograph every book and piece of music we sell and do not rely on stock images. If you need more information on a particular item, or if we haven't yet provided a photograph for a specific listing, please contact us - info@hallofbooks.com. As a rule, we do not sell new books but the odd one sometimes slips through the net and we'll describe it as such. We list our inventory across several on-line services and all items are offered subject to prior sale, although we update our inventory regularly across all outlets to avoid this happening. We price our inventory realistically and include p&p in the UK. We make every effort to keep our prices fixed but prices are subject to change without notice.

Returns Policy

We make every effort to describe and photograph our secondhand books and sheet music as accurately as we can and to package them securely when they sell. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for whatever reason, you can return the item to us for a full refund by letting us know, within 7 days of your order, that the item is being returned and why (email or phone). We'll refund your money once the item is back with us (packaged securely).

Postage and Shipping Charges

2nd Class Postage and packing in the UK is included within our prices. Orders usually ship within 2 working days (usually same or next day). For overseas customers our international shipping rates will apply. Other options are available and we are always happy to discuss your specific requirements. Collection from our storage facilities in Shropshire is also an option. When shipping overseas we use airmail unless the item is particularly heavy or large, when we may use a courier service. Our shipping rates are based on an average 2.2lb/1kg package. We reserve the right to request additional payment for heavier or over-sized items when shipping abroad.
