Dust jacket condition: good to very good, two unclosed tears to top edge and a little chipped at the bottom but very clean and crisp for age. Binding is tight with clear text, illustrations and photographs. No inscriptions but stamp on inside pastdown which runs across DJ flap: Sold by Jennie Wade Museum, Gettysburg, PA. Frontispiece is The Gettysburg Address. From the Introduction: (Mr. Storrick, author and retired Superintendent of Guides) was born a short distance from the field, he remembers the flight from home as the troops advanced. He heard Lincoln deliver his immortal address, and he has been a constant student of the battle and its field.
