"Second edition hardback, published in Madras 1943, with unclipped jacket. In overall very good condition - dj is tanned and worn to spine head and edges; red boards, with gilt titles to spine, are faded to edges with a little shelfwear. Binding tight, no annotations or inscriptions - owners name dated 21/1/47 to ffep. Page ends a bit tanned with the odd age-spot but text and illustrations (by the author) are clean and clear throughout. A nice, private (not ex-library) copy."
