Hall of Books is an independent online, second-hand bookstore, run by Shaun and Sarah Sheppard from rural Shropshire, near the Welsh Borders in the United Kingdom. We started Hall of Books in 2011, combining our love of books and music with our backgrounds in Graphic Design, Photography, Writing, Sales, Marketing and Music.
We have over 10,000 items listed online and add new titles on a daily basis. We have not specialised in any particular category or genre of books but offer an eclectic selection that we hope appeals to a diversity of tastes and interests. All of the second-hand books and sheet music on our website are owned by us and are in stock. We personally acquire, check, describe, photograph, store, pick, pack and post every item we sell. Good customer service is very important to us and we do our best to describe our books accurately, including photographs of the actual book or music you will receive should you order, and to package them securely when they sell. We love old books that have been read and treasured by other souls and we like to treat them with the respect we feel they deserve. We offer a full refund if a customer is not happy with their purchase.
