Book Condition: Very Good
"Privately produced leather-bound hardback, 1846, with no jacket as published. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of handling and storage - maroon leather boards, with gilt titles to spine and gilt decoration to spine and front and rear boards, are lightly scuffed to corners. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read, no annotations or inscriptions - tiny name stamp to front pastedown; light foxing to the two plates at the front of the book (All Saint's Church and St. Michael's Church, Southampton) but marbelled end-papers and decorated pages clean and clear throughout. Not an old library book. A particulalrly lovely collection of sacred poetry. Photograph available."
