"Fifth edition hardback, 1921, with no jacket. In overall good to very good used condition with only minor signs of handling and storage - marbled paper boards half-bound in tan cloth with rubbing to edges, title label to spine lightly tanned. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read, no annotations or inscriptions; spotting and tanning to page-ends but text bright and clear throughout. Includes a period clipping from the Westminster Gazette (September 16th 1916) - a lengthy letter by George Moore in response to a critical review of the first edition of this book in August 1916 - interesting reading. Not an old library book. Photograph available. "
