First edition hardback, 1629, in full leather binding. In overall very good used condition with some minor signs of age, handling and storage - tan leather boards marked and darkened with leather worn through to boards at lower corners. Binding tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no inscriptions - pencilled note in German to reverse of front endpaper with some neat notes in ink to rear endpapers (Italian); toning to red-speckled page-ends but text bright and clear throughout.
